The Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID) is the scientific research support organization for psychology in German-speaking countries. It is committed to the idea of open science and sees itself as a public open science institute for psychology. It supports the entire scientific work process from gathering ideas and researching literature to documenting research, archiving data and publishing the results, based on an ideal-type research cycle.
PsychOpen GOLD is a product and service from ZPID, which publishes primary research in the field of psychology. Eleven independent journals are currently published. We want to foster ZPID’s mission by expanding the number and scientific range of open science based, diamond open access journals by supporting and offering additional four (4) journals on PsychOpen GOLD.
We welcome proposals from new and existing journals in Psychology and closely related fields. You may propose starting a completely new journal or transfer an existing journal.
We offer to publish your journal completely free of charge for editors, authors, as well as readers (“Diamond Open Access”). This includes production and dissemination of manuscripts, as well as support for editors and authors. More details about PsychOpen GOLD services can be found in our PsychOpen GOLD Publishing Services
